How do Asian American families stay connected while navigating cultural differences, discrimination, and the challenges of growing up across generations? Drawing from interviews with Chinese immigrant parents and children during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as community-based parenting programs, this talk explores how families experience conflict, connection, identity, and resilience. Participants will gain insight into common communication challenges and learn practical approaches that can help strengthen family relationships and support youth well-being.
