No Muslim Ban Ever: History and Solidarity | Film screening and dialogue with Holly Yasui

  • United Methodist Building (Rm 1 & 2) (map)

Holly Yasui is the daughter of Minoru Yasui, the first Japanese American lawyer in Oregon who challenged the incarceration orders of Japanese Americans during World War II. Join us for the screening of Never Give Up! Minoru Yasui and the Fight for Justice, followed by a dialogue between Holly Yasui and community activists about the lessons of history and the imperative of solidarity on the day that Muslim Ban 3.0 is expected to go into effect.

This event is part of the #NoMuslimBanEver campaign (www.nomuslimbanever.com).

We'll be meeting in Rooms 1 & 2 of the United Methodist Building. Beverages and light refreshments will be served!
